Players assume the identities of monsters, waiting to terrorize the unwise kids who have foolishly entered the haunted house. On a dare, they must spend one night in the house until the dawn, however, they will not survive until then. They are at the mercy of the monsters, who are fighting to claim them for themselves!

Each person will play a group of six monsters, for the purpose of terrorizing the inhabitants. If a player manages to inflict enough terror in a person, or force the person to flee the house, then that person is claimed for a point. Points may also be accrued with special bonus cards. The first players to score five or more points on a single turn wins the game!
